Accessibility
NuriTap is built for older adults, so accessibility is part of the product, not an add-on. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA for nuritap.com and the NuriTap app.
What we do
- Large text by default, with adjustable text size in the app
- Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed for readers with low vision
- Color contrast that meets WCAG AA
- Touch targets of at least 48 pixels
- Voice guidance and voice input
- Screen reader labels on buttons and icons
