Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and NuriTap ("NuriTap," "we") for use of the NuriTap app, NuriTap Pro and nuritap.com (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. What NuriTap does
NuriTap helps you connect with independent licensed care providers and caregivers, offers wellness checks and general health information, and lets you share updates with family. Wellness checks compare your results with your own usual results; they are not medical tests.
2. Care providers
Nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians and caregivers on NuriTap are independent professionals responsible for the care they provide and for holding required licenses. NuriTap does not practice medicine or nursing and does not control their professional judgment. Any diagnosis, treatment or prescription comes from the provider.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be 18 or older and live in a region where we offer the Service. A family member or caregiver may help you set up and use the app with your permission. Keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you think your account has been used without permission.
4. Memberships, fees and points
Some features require a membership or a per-visit fee. Prices are shown before you pay. You can cancel a membership at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period unless the law requires otherwise. A membership is a fee for access to the Service and is not health insurance. Points have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may expire as described in the app.
5. Using the Service responsibly
- Give accurate information when you request care.
- Use the help button only when you need help.
- Do not misuse the Service, harass providers or staff, or try to access other people's information.
- Providers must keep their license information current and follow applicable law.
6. Recording
Video visits may be recorded only with the consent of everyone on the call. You may not record visits yourself without the consent of all participants.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of information you provide. You give NuriTap permission to use it to operate the Service as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers
The Service, including AI guidance and wellness checks, is provided "as is." General health information and AI answers are not a substitute for professional medical advice. We do not guarantee that a provider will be available at any particular time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, NuriTap is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see Delete your account). We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or put others at risk.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. For significant changes we will notify you in the app before they take effect.
